BONSEI! Optimal use of existing buildings – renovation Energy-efficient implementation!

From 2016 to 2018

PROJECT OBJECTIVE:

The aim of the BONSEI! project is to promote energy-efficient and socially acceptable redensification in privately owned urban residential buildings and at the same time to create a methodological basis for more resource-efficient urban regions. On the basis of an innovative catalogue of criteria and technological planning bases, an integrative consideration of suitable redensification measures will be carried out under energetic, architectural and settlement structural aspects and their interactions. Based on this, suitable areas/buildings will be evaluated and prioritised, taking into account settlement pressure and practical feasibility. The results are incorporated into the conception of a new type of service offer (integrative post-densification consulting), which is intended to serve as a neutral initial consultation for private intensification projects. The functionality will be tested by means of test consultations involving the 12 Loi partners and the findings will be used for the further development of the consulting concept.
